Illustrafemmes is an illustration gallery dedicated to women graphic designers and illustrators in France.
Since December 2020, Illustrafemmes Gallery has been promoting over 70 artists from 18 countries. From December 2021 to March 2024, we organized more than 25 solo and group exhibitions at our local venue in Toulouse, giving visibility to young and emerging artists. We believe it is time to rewrite women's place in art history, especially in graphic art and illustration.
We wanted to represent women from all backgrounds here, to be inspired by their courage, use their ambition, let ourselves be surprised by their wild imagination or find peace through their simple presence!

SONIA ALINS
The Illustrafemmes gallery hosted an exhibition titled "WE ARE THE SEA" by Sonia Alins, a Spanish illustrator based in Catalonia, from November 25, 2023 to January 24, 2024.
Sonia Alins is an artist who blends surrealism and romanticism to create her unique artistic personality. Her artwork reflects her personal reflections, often centered around emotions and dreams. Sonia's art frequently references femininity, feminism, motherhood, family, and the passage of time.

Exposition "Le Secret de la Féminité"
« Le Secret de la Féminité » est une odyssée visuelle au cœur de l'âme et du corps des femmes, là où se rencontrent la force et la délicatesse. Cette exposition est une invitation à explorer les strates invisibles de l'identité féminine, bien au-delà des clichés et des images préconçues.
Ici, le « secret » ne signifie ni l'ombre ou ni l'ambiguïté ; il incarne ce pouvoir unique qu'a chaque femme de se réapproprier sa propre histoire. Chaque œuvre devient une fenêtre ouverte sur un univers intime, un espace où les secrets ne sont pas là pour être cachés, mais pour être ressentis et partagés.
En réunissant des artistes d'ici et d'ailleurs, cette exposition explore des thèmes universels : la résilience, l'esthétique intérieure et cette puissance silencieuse qui nous anime. Un voyage qui commence dans le silence et s'épanouit en un récit artistique vibrant.
La galerie Illustrafemmes, en partenariat avec le Réseau intercommunal des médiathèques Centre Tarn de Réalmont, a le plaisir de lancer un appel à candidatures pour sa grande exposition de l'été 2026.
Nous recherchons des artistes (locaux et nationaux) dont le travail explore, avec sensibilité et originalité, les multiples facettes du féminin.

Critères de sélection
Nous acceptons les candidatures de toute la France. Les œuvres doivent s'inscrire dans l'une des techniques suivantes :

Techniques : Illustration numérique, Art digital, Collage, Mixed media, Linogravure et techniques traditionnelles.

Formats autorisés : A4, A3, 30x30 cm ou 50x70 cm.

Quantité : Merci de nous soumettre entre 1 et 3 propositions maximum par artiste.
